A refreshing and invigorating Apple Ginger Juice made with crisp apples and fresh ginger. Naturally sweet with a bold, slightly spicy kick, this bright drink is perfect for a morning boost or afternoon refreshment.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium apples, cored and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup cold water (if using a blender)
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and core the apples, then chop into pieces. Peel and chop the ginger.
  2. If using a juicer, feed the apples and ginger through according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. If using a blender, add apples, ginger, and cold water. Blend until smooth.
  4. Strain the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove pulp.
  5. Stir in lemon juice if desired.
  6. Pour over ice if using and serve immediately.

  • Use sweet apples like Fuji or Gala for a naturally sweeter juice.
  • Add a carrot or pineapple for a flavor variation.
