Air Fryer Gnocchi is crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and ready in minutes without boiling. It’s a quick, delicious, and effortless way to enjoy gnocchi as a snack, side dish, or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) package shelf-stable or refrigerated potato gnocchi
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning or paprika
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss gnocchi with oil, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings.
  3. Spread gnocchi in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  4. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite dips or sauces, or season with Parmesan and herbs.

Notes

  • No boiling needed—gnocchi goes straight into the air fryer.
  • Let frozen gnocchi thaw slightly or add 2–3 extra minutes to cook time.
  • Homemade gnocchi may be more delicate—chill first and handle gently.
  • Great for dipping in marinara, pesto, or garlic aioli.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the air fryer for best texture.
