A fresh, creamy, and classic guacamole made with ripe avocados, bright lime juice, and simple seasonings for a bold, balanced dip.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 small jalapeño, finely diced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  2. Mash gently with a fork, leaving some chunks for texture.
  3. Add lime juice and stir to coat the avocados.
  4. Mix in red onion, garlic, cilantro, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Add jalapeño if using and mix just until combined.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  7. Serve immediately or cover tightly until ready to serve.

  • Use ripe Hass avocados for the best flavor and creaminess.
  • Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface to reduce browning.
