Buffalo Chicken Sliders are a quick, flavorful snack or meal made with shredded chicken tossed in buffalo sauce, layered with cheese on soft slider buns, and baked until golden and melty. Perfect for parties, game days, or an easy family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie works great)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese or ranch dressing (optional, for creaminess)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Optional toppings: green onions, blue cheese crumbles, ranch or blue cheese dressing for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or sheet.
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with buffalo sauce and cream cheese or ranch if using.
  3. Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping the bottoms connected, and place them in the prepared dish.
  4. Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls.
  5. Top with shredded cheese.
  6. Place the top half of the buns over the cheese layer.
  7. Melt the butter with garlic powder and brush it over the tops of the rolls.
  8. Bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can make these ahead and bake right before serving.
  • Use blue cheese crumbles for a stronger flavor.
  • Add sliced celery or pickles for extra crunch.
  • Adjust spice level by varying the buffalo sauce or adding ranch.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven.
