These Canadian No-Bake Moose Farts Cookie Balls are a fun and easy treat made with sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, graham cracker crumbs, and coconut. No baking required, they’re the perfect 15-minute snack for parties, gatherings, or a playful indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (300 ml in Canada, 14 oz in the US)
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups dried coconut (fine or medium cut)
  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
  • Extra graham cracker crumbs for rolling

Instructions

  1. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well-blended.
  2. Add Dry Ingredients: Gradually mix in graham cracker crumbs, dried coconut, and chocolate chips. Stir until evenly incorporated. The mixture will be thick and sticky.
  3. Chill the Mixture: Refrigerate the mixture for 1 hour to firm it up, making it easier to handle.
  4. Form Cookie Balls: Once chilled, use a tablespoon or small scoop to portion out the mixture. Roll each portion into 1¼-inch balls using your hands.
  5. Coat with Graham Crumbs: Roll each ball in extra graham cracker crumbs for added texture and to prevent sticking.
  6. Chill Again: Arrange the cookie balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up completely.
  7. Store: Transfer the chilled cookie balls to an airtight container, separating layers with parchment paper. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • Add ¼ cup of chopped pecans or walnuts for a crunchy texture.
  • For a festive twist, swap chocolate chips for white chocolate and add dried cranberries.
  • To make a vegan version, use coconut condensed milk and plant-based butter.
  • Unsweetened coconut can be used for a subtler sweetness.
