Ingredients

  • 4 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 2 small beets, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup water (if using a blender)
  • 1 tbsp lemon or lime juice (optional)
  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger (optional)
  • 1 apple or orange (optional, for sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Wash and prepare all ingredients by peeling and chopping carrots, beets, and any optional produce.
  2. For Juicer: Run ingredients through a juicer one at a time. Stir juice and serve chilled or fresh.
  3. For Blender: Add chopped carrots, beets, and 1/2 cup water to a blender. Blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
  4. Stir in lemon juice or ginger if using. Serve immediately for best flavor and nutrition.
