Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are a quick, satisfying meal made with juicy garlic-seasoned chicken, melty cheese, and optional veggies, all wrapped in a warm tortilla. They’re easy to prepare, customizable, and perfect for lunch, dinner, or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless chicken breast or thighs, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp paprika or Italian seasoning (optional)
  • 4 flour tortillas or wraps
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella, cheddar, or cheese blend
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or garlic aioli (optional)
  • Optional add-ins: baby spinach, chopped tomatoes, red onion, bell peppers

Instructions

  1. Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped chicken.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, and optional paprika or Italian seasoning. Cook for 6–8 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  3. In the last minute, add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Warm tortillas slightly to make them pliable.
  5. Spread a thin layer of mayo or garlic aioli on each tortilla (if using).
  6. Spoon chicken onto each tortilla, top with shredded cheese and any optional veggies.
  7. Fold in the sides and roll the wraps tightly.
  8. Toast the wraps in a clean skillet, seam-side down, for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted.
  9. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Add pesto, ranch, or hot sauce for extra flavor variations.
  • Use leftover rotisserie chicken for quicker prep.
  • Make it vegetarian with mushrooms, chickpeas, or tofu.
  • For low-carb, use lettuce leaves instead of tortillas.
  • Bake wraps at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes for a hands-off option.
