This Cheesy Shrimp Bake is a rich, creamy, and comforting dish made with juicy shrimp, garlic, melty cheeses, and a hint of lemon—all baked to golden perfection. It’s an easy yet impressive meal that’s perfect for both weeknights and entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined (medium or large)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise or sour cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp paprika or cayenne (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley or green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a small baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant. Remove from heat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise or sour cream, Parmesan, lemon juice, paprika (if using), salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Fold in shrimp and garlic butter until evenly coated.
  5. Spread the mixture in the prepared baking dish and top with shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 18–20 minutes, until the shrimp are cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  7. Optional: Broil for 2–3 minutes to brown the top.
  8. Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve hot.
