Cranberry turkey stuffing balls are a festive and flavorful dish combining ground turkey, sweet-tart cranberries, and herbed stuffing into bite-sized, golden-baked treats. Perfect as an appetizer, side dish, or creative use of Thanksgiving leftovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cups prepared stuffing (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries (or fresh, chopped)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup grated onion (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (for brushing)
  • Turkey gravy or cranberry sauce, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, prepared stuffing, cranberries, egg, grated onion (if using), parsley, salt, and pepper. If the mixture is too dry, add a splash of broth or melted butter.
  3. Form the mixture into 1½- to 2-inch balls and place them evenly on the baking sheet.
  4. Brush the tops with olive oil or melted butter.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the stuffing balls are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve warm with turkey gravy or cranberry sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Add chopped pecans or walnuts for extra crunch.
  • Use diced apple for a sweet, fruity variation.
  • Can substitute ground turkey with chicken or sausage.
  • Form and refrigerate balls ahead of time for easy baking later.
  • Freeze cooked balls and reheat straight from frozen.
