Creamy Boursin Chicken with Garlic and Herbs is a rich and comforting one-pan meal featuring seared chicken breasts smothered in a velvety Boursin cheese sauce. It’s quick, elegant, and perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 24 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese round (5.2 oz)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (or more for thinner sauce)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add chicken broth to the skillet and bring to a simmer, scraping up any brown bits.
  5. Add Boursin cheese and stir until fully melted and smooth. Stir in heavy cream if using.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer 3–4 more minutes, spooning sauce over the top.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot with your choice of side.

Notes

  • Skip the cream for a lighter version.
  • Substitute chicken with turkey cutlets or shrimp for variety.
  • Add a splash of white wine or lemon juice for acidity.
  • Pair with mashed potatoes, pasta, or roasted vegetables to soak up the sauce.
