Creamy One‑Pot Beef Pasta with Garlic Butter is a hearty, comforting dinner where tender ground beef, rich garlic butter, and a creamy sauce come together with pasta in one pot. It’s flavorful, easy to make, and perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or favorite short pasta)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or half‑and‑half
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot or deep skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft, about 3 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Add ground beef, season with salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika (if using). Cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  3. Stir in butter and let it melt, coating the beef in garlicky richness.
  4. Add the uncooked pasta directly into the pot and pour in the beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Cook everything uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed, about 12–15 minutes.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan. Cook a couple more minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the pasta beautifully.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley, then serve hot straight from the pot.

Notes

  • Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter variation.
  • Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce for a spicy kick.
  • Stir in spinach or mushrooms near the end for extra veggies.
  • Add shredded mozzarella or cheddar for extra cheesy richness.
  • Use gluten‑free pasta if needed, adjusting cook time according to package directions.
