These crispy Air Fryer Spring Rolls deliver all the crunch and flavor of traditional fried rolls but with far less oil. Filled with fresh vegetables and seasoned to perfection, they’re quick, customizable, and perfect as an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

  • 12 spring roll wrappers (thin wheat-based type)
  • 2 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • Cooking spray or light oil for brushing

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add sesame oil.
  2. Sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  3. Add cabbage, carrots, and bean sprouts; stir-fry until just softened.
  4. Add soy sauce and stir; if using protein, cook separately and mix in now.
  5. Let filling cool slightly.
  6. Place a spring roll wrapper on a flat surface, add filling near one corner, roll tightly, folding in sides.
  7. Brush or spray rolls lightly with oil.
  8. Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket, not touching.
  9. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  10. Serve hot with dipping sauce of choice.

Notes

  • Keep wrappers covered with a damp towel while rolling to prevent drying.
  • For a spicy twist, mix sriracha into soy sauce before adding to filling.
  • Leftovers store in an airtight container for up to 3 days; reheat in the air fryer for 3–4 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
  • Freeze uncooked rolls on a tray, then transfer to a bag; air fry from frozen with 2–3 extra minutes cooking time.
