This Crispy Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon is pan-seared to golden perfection and coated in a sticky, sweet-savory honey garlic glaze. Ready in just 25 minutes, it’s the perfect weeknight dinner that feels gourmet without the fuss.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets, skin-on
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse salmon under cold water and pat dry thoroughly.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place salmon skin-side down; sear for 4–5 minutes until skin is golden and crisp.
  4. Flip salmon and cook another 3–4 minutes until just cooked through. Remove from skillet.
  5. Reduce heat to medium; sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Stir in honey and soy sauce; let bubble and thicken slightly.
  7. Return salmon to skillet and spoon glaze over fillets until well coated.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with green onions.

Notes

  • Add lemon juice for brightness or red pepper flakes for heat.
  • Bake instead at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes, then glaze.
  • Avoid microwaving leftovers to preserve texture—reheat gently in a skillet.
