Crockpot Garlic Butter Steak Bites are tender beef chunks slow-cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce. Easy to prepare and full of savory flavor, they’re perfect for a satisfying, hands-off meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs steak (sirloin, ribeye, or chuck roast), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp butter, cut into chunks
  • 1/3 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp thyme or rosemary

Instructions

  1. Season steak bites generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak pieces until browned on the outside.
  3. Transfer browned steak bites to a crockpot.
  4. Add minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and butter over the top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours, until steak is tender.
  6. Before serving, stir gently and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  7. Serve warm over mashed potatoes, rice, or vegetables.

Notes

  • Searing the beef adds depth of flavor but is optional.
  • Add mushrooms or baby potatoes to make it a complete one-pot meal.
  • Use plant-based butter for a dairy-free version.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
  • Reheat gently with a splash of broth or butter to maintain moisture.
