Creamy no-bake truffles made with cookie crumbs and cream cheese, dipped in white chocolate and decorated like adorable snowmen. A fun and festive treat for the holidays that doubles as a creative activity for all ages.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 36 vanilla sandwich cookies (like Golden Oreos), crushed
  • 12 oz white chocolate or white candy melts
  • Mini chocolate chips (for eyes and buttons)
  • Orange sprinkles or mini candies (for noses)
  • Pretzel sticks (for arms)
  • Mini peanut butter cups or chocolate candies (for hats)
  • Colored icing or candy melts (for scarves)

Instructions

  1. Crush cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or rolling pin.
  2. Mix crushed cookies with softened cream cheese until smooth and dough-like.
  3. Roll into small balls — one smaller for the head, one larger for the body per snowman.
  4. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.
  5. Melt white chocolate or candy melts until smooth.
  6. Dip each ball into melted chocolate, let excess drip off, and place on parchment to set.
  7. Stack one small ball on a larger ball using melted chocolate to attach.
  8. Decorate with mini chocolate chips, orange sprinkles, pretzel sticks, candy hats, and scarves.
  9. Let fully set before serving or storing.

Notes

  • Keep truffles cold before dipping to maintain shape.
  • Use candy melts or almond bark if white chocolate is unavailable.
  • Decorate immediately after stacking before coating sets.
  • Try chocolate sandwich cookies or gingerbread for different flavor bases.
  • Freeze in a single layer and thaw in fridge before serving.
