Deliciously Cheesy Cottage Cheese Sticks are crispy on the outside, soft and cheesy inside, and loaded with protein. Made with cottage cheese and simple ingredients, they’re a fun and healthy twist on classic cheese snacks—perfect for dipping, snacking, or adding to lunchboxes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (blended or small curd)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour or oat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon dried herbs (oregano or parsley)
  • Olive oil or cooking spray (for baking)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lightly grease with cooking spray or olive oil.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cottage cheese, shredded cheese, eggs, flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and herbs (if using) until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet and shape into a flat rectangle about ½ inch thick.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden and firm to the touch.
  5. Let cool slightly, then slice into sticks or fingers.
  6. For extra crispiness, return the sliced sticks to the oven for 5–10 more minutes.
