Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread (sourdough, whole grain, or rustic)
  • 12 ripe avocados
  • 2 eggs
  • 12 teaspoons olive oil or butter
  • 12 teaspoons chili crunch or chili crisp
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: lemon juice, red pepper flakes, or flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread until golden and crisp.
  2. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat and fry the eggs until whites are set and yolks remain runny; season with salt and pepper.
  3. Mash the avocado in a bowl with salt and a squeeze of lemon juice if using.
  4. Spread the mashed avocado evenly over the toasted bread.
