Funfetti Dip is a quick, no-bake dessert that tastes just like cake batter. Creamy, sweet, and packed with rainbow sprinkles, it’s perfect for parties, holidays, or anytime you want a fun and festive treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Funfetti cake mix (or vanilla cake mix with 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles)
  • 8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles (plus extra for topping)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Microwave the cake mix in a microwave-safe bowl for 1 minute and 30 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds to heat-treat. Let cool completely.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Add the cooled cake mix and milk to the cream cheese. Mix until smooth and fully combined.
  4. Fold in the whipped topping gently until light and fluffy.
  5. Stir in the rainbow sprinkles carefully to avoid color bleeding.
  6. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and top with additional sprinkles.
  7. Serve chilled with dippers like animal crackers, graham crackers, pretzels, vanilla wafers, or fruit.

Notes

  • Use different cake mixes like chocolate or strawberry for flavor variations.
  • For a lighter dip, use low-fat cream cheese and light whipped topping.
  • Swap in seasonal sprinkles for holidays.
  • Homemade whipped cream can be used but should be whipped to stiff peaks.
  • Not freezer-friendly — best enjoyed fresh or within 4 days refrigerated.
