Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1–2 tbsp ketchup or mustard (optional)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley or chives (optional)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and optional ketchup or mustard. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Roll out dough and cut into rectangles or triangles depending on shape. Spoon beef mixture onto each piece, top with shredded cheese, and roll up like crescents or pinwheels.
- Place rollups seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Mix melted butter with garlic powder and a pinch of salt. Brush over rollups. Sprinkle with sesame seeds or herbs if using.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly and serve warm with dipping sauces.
