Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Parmesan Cream Sauce is a quick, indulgent dish featuring juicy seared steak cubes tossed in garlic butter and finished with a rich Parmesan cream sauce. Perfect with pasta, rice, or crusty bread, it’s a luxurious meal ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs (680 g) sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat steak cubes dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Sear steak bites for about 2 minutes per side until browned but juicy. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium, melt 2 tablespoons butter, and add garlic and thyme. Cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring often.
  6. Stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes if desired.
  7. Whisk in remaining 2 tablespoons butter for richness.
  8. Return steak to the skillet, tossing to coat in sauce. Heat through.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot with pasta, rice, or bread.

Notes

  • Swap sirloin for ribeye or strip steak for extra richness.
  • Add mushrooms or spinach for a veggie boost.
  • Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream to lighten the sauce.
  • Rosemary can replace thyme for a different flavor profile.
  • For a thicker sauce, simmer longer or add extra Parmesan.
