Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried parsley)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce (for serving)
  • Extra Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, egg, salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix until just combined.
  3. Roll into 1 to 1.5-inch meatballs and place evenly on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
  5. Warm marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Serve meatballs hot with marinara drizzled on top and extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy version.
  • Use ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
  • Insert a cube of mozzarella into each meatball for a cheesy center.
  • Double the batch and freeze half for easy future meals.
