Garlic Parmesan roasted shrimp is a fast, flavorful dish made with juicy shrimp tossed in olive oil, garlic, Parmesan, and spices, then roasted to perfection. It’s savory, cheesy, and perfect for weeknights or entertaining.

Ingredients

  • pounds large shrimp (1620 count), peeled and deveined (tails on or off)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread shrimp in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 8–10 minutes, until shrimp are pink, opaque, and cooked through. For a crispier top, broil for the last 1–2 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Add crushed red pepper flakes for heat.
  • Use fresh rosemary or thyme for a different flavor profile.
  • Drizzle with garlic butter for extra richness.
  • Great tossed into pasta or served over rice.
  • Can be grilled instead of roasted—just skewer and cook 2–3 minutes per side.
