Ghost Fruit Skewers are a fun, festive, and healthy Halloween treat made with fresh fruit and adorable banana ghosts. Perfect for parties, kids’ snacks, or holiday gatherings, they’re quick to assemble and naturally sweet.

Ingredients

  • 4 bananas, peeled and cut in half
  • 16 mini chocolate chips (for eyes)
  • 8 large chocolate chips (for mouths)
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled
  • 1 cup green grapes
  • 1 cup purple or red grapes
  • 810 wooden or bamboo skewers

Instructions

  1. Cut each banana in half and stand them upright to form ghost shapes.
  2. Press two mini chocolate chips into each banana half to create eyes, and one large chocolate chip below for the mouth.
  3. Thread grapes and strawberries onto each skewer in alternating colors and patterns.
  4. Top each skewer with a banana ghost, pressing it gently onto the skewer tip to secure.
  5. Arrange the skewers on a platter and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Brush banana pieces with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • Substitute with melon balls, pineapple, kiwi, or mango for variety.
  • Use Halloween-themed skewers for added fun.
  • Dip banana ghosts in white chocolate for an extra treat.
  • Skewers are best served fresh and cold—no reheating required.
