Ghostly Banana Pops are festive Halloween treats made by dipping ripe banana halves in white chocolate and decorating them with chocolate chip faces. They’re fun, healthier than typical sweets, and perfect for kids and parties.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, cut in half
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • 6 popsicle sticks
  • 18 chocolate chips (for eyes and mouths)

Instructions

  1. Cut bananas in half and insert a popsicle stick into the flat end of each piece.
  2. Melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler until smooth.
  3. Dip each banana half into the melted white chocolate to coat completely.
  4. Place coated bananas on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Before the chocolate sets, press chocolate chips into each banana to form eyes and a mouth.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator or freezer until firm, about 20–30 minutes.
  7. Serve chilled or frozen.

Notes

  • Freeze bananas first for easier dipping.
  • Try drizzling with dark chocolate or adding crushed graham crackers for texture.
  • Use yogurt instead of chocolate for a lighter version.
  • Decorate with raisins or candy eyes as alternatives to chocolate chips.
  • Let frozen pops sit out a few minutes before eating to soften slightly.
