Tender, flaky baked salmon coated in a sweet and tangy honey mustard glaze, made with simple ingredients for an easy yet special weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking dish or sheet pan.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in the dish, skin-side down.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice until smooth.
  4. Spread the honey mustard mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Brushing extra sauce halfway through baking enhances the glaze.
  • Bake uncovered for light caramelization or cover with foil for extra moisture.
  • Frozen salmon can be used if fully thawed and patted dry.
