Hot Cocoa Fluff is a light and creamy dessert dip that tastes just like a cozy mug of hot chocolate. Made with marshmallow crème, whipped topping, cocoa mix, and cream cheese, it’s perfect for dipping cookies, fruit, or crackers at parties or family nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup marshmallow crème (or marshmallow fluff)
  • 1/4 cup hot cocoa mix (regular or chocolate fudge flavor)
  • 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • Mini marshmallows, for topping (optional)
  • Mini chocolate chips or chocolate shavings, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add marshmallow crème and hot cocoa mix. Beat until fully combined and fluffy.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped topping until light and smooth.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl and top with mini marshmallows and chocolate chips if desired.
  5. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for best texture.

Notes

  • Use peppermint cocoa mix or add cinnamon for flavor variations.
  • Fold in crushed cookies or drizzle with chocolate syrup for extra richness.
  • Use homemade whipped cream if preferred — just whip until stiff peaks form.
  • Let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving if too firm from chilling.
