Hot Honey Ricotta Pizza is a gourmet-style homemade pizza featuring creamy ricotta, spicy-sweet hot honey, and a crisp, golden crust. It’s easy to make and packs bold flavor with minimal effort—perfect for pizza night with a twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 ball pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 23 tbsp hot honey (store-bought or homemade with honey + chili flakes)
  • Fresh basil leaves, for topping
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Cornmeal or flour, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to desired thickness. Transfer to a peel or baking sheet dusted with cornmeal.
  3. Brush dough with olive oil and evenly distribute minced garlic over the surface.
  4. Dollop ricotta cheese over the dough, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes for heat.
  6. Bake for 8–12 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and drizzle generously with hot honey. Top with fresh basil and a crack of black pepper.
  8. Slice and serve immediately.
