A classic, refreshing mojito made with fresh mint, lime, and white rum, balanced with gentle sweetness and sparkling club soda. Crisp, cooling, and perfect for warm days or relaxed evenings.

Ingredients

  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 lime, cut into wedges
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar or 1 tablespoon simple syrup
  • 2 oz white rum
  • Club soda, to top
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Add mint leaves and sugar (or simple syrup) to a sturdy glass.
  2. Gently muddle to release the mint aroma without tearing the leaves.
  3. Squeeze in the lime wedges and drop them into the glass.
  4. Fill the glass with ice.
  5. Pour in the white rum.
  6. Top with club soda.
  7. Stir gently to combine.
  8. Garnish with extra mint and a lime wedge, then serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not over-muddle the mint to avoid bitterness.
  • Use fresh lime juice for the brightest flavor.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste.
