Monster Mash Brownies are fudgy Halloween-themed brownies topped with candy eyeballs, colorful sprinkles, and drizzled melted chocolate or frosting. They’re fun, festive, and easy to make for parties or spooky movie nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter or oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Candy eyeballs
  • Halloween sprinkles
  • Melted white chocolate or candy melts (green, purple, orange, etc.)
  • Food coloring (if needed)
  • Optional: frosting or icing for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare brownie batter using homemade ingredients or a box mix, then pour into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 25–30 minutes until set and fudgy. Let cool completely.
  4. Drizzle melted colored chocolate or frosting in zigzag patterns over the cooled brownies.
  5. Decorate with candy eyeballs, Halloween sprinkles, and any other desired toppings.
  6. Allow toppings to set, then cut into squares or rectangles and serve.

Notes

  • Swirl peanut butter or cream cheese into batter for added flavor.
  • Add chopped candy bars or M&M’s for extra richness.
  • Use muffin tins for individual monster brownie faces.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 days, or refrigerate for 5 days.
  • Freeze up to 1 month if wrapped tightly.
