  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 6 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup sweetened shredded coconut (optional for topping)
  • 1/4 cup additional chopped pecans (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and chopped pecans.

  7. Pour the chocolate filling into the chilled crust and smooth the top.
  8. Top with shredded coconut and additional chopped pecans if desired.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until the filling is set.

Notes

  • Use gluten-free graham crackers for a gluten-free version.
  • Toasted pecans add extra flavor to the crust and garnish.
  • Swap chocolate graham crackers or Oreos for a richer crust.
  • For a firmer filling, reduce the cream slightly or chill overnight.
