This One-Pot Creamy Beef Pasta is a hearty, flavorful dinner made with ground beef, tomato, cream, and pasta all cooked in a single pot for easy cleanup and maximum taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion softens.
  3. Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1 minute to enhance the flavor.
  4. Add diced tomatoes and beef broth. Stir to combine.
  5. Add pasta, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until pasta is tender (about 12-15 minutes).
  6. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 3-5 more minutes until the sauce is creamy and well combined.
  7. Optional: Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

  • Substitute ground beef with turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Stir in spinach or peas for extra vegetables.
  • Use any short pasta like fusilli or elbow macaroni.
  • Add a splash of white wine for deeper flavor.
