Oreo Layered Brownies are ultra-indulgent treats made with rich brownie batter, a full layer of Oreos baked inside, and topped with a fluffy cream cheese frosting. Every bite is a delicious combination of fudgy, crunchy, and creamy textures.

Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as directed)
  • 24 Oreo cookies (whole or roughly chopped)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping or whipped cream
  • Optional: extra crushed Oreos and/or melted chocolate chips for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare brownie batter according to package instructions.
  3. Pour half the batter into the pan and spread evenly.
  4. Layer Oreo cookies evenly over the batter.
  5. Pour remaining brownie batter over the Oreos and spread to cover.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
  7. Let brownies cool completely in the pan.
  8. Meanwhile, in a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; mix until combined.
  9. Fold in whipped topping until fluffy and smooth.
  10. Spread topping over cooled brownies. Garnish with extra crushed Oreos or drizzle melted chocolate if desired.
  11. Chill for at least 1 hour before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

  • Use mint or flavored Oreos for a fun twist.
  • Add caramel sauce or chocolate chips to brownie batter for extra richness.
  • For a simpler version, skip the topping and dust with powdered sugar.
  • Chill before slicing for cleaner cuts.
  • Store in the fridge up to 5 days or freeze individually wrapped squares.
