This peppermint fudge is a festive, no-fuss treat made with rich chocolate, peppermint extract, and a crunchy topping of crushed peppermint candies. Perfect for holiday gifting or a quick sweet fix.

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Stir until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract.
  4. Spread the chocolate mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Melt white chocolate chips in the microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
  6. Drizzle melted white chocolate over the fudge and swirl with a knife or toothpick.
  7. Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies evenly on top, gently pressing them into the surface.
  8. Refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm.
  9. Once set, lift out the fudge using parchment overhang and cut into squares.

Notes

  • Use dark chocolate chips for a richer taste.
  • Mix in marshmallow creme for a creamier texture.
  • Try crushed Oreos or extra chocolate drizzle as a topping variation.
  • For a layered look, divide into a chocolate and white chocolate layer with peppermint extract in both.
