Raspberry Cream Napoleons are elegant layered desserts made with flaky puff pastry, sweet whipped cream, and fresh raspberries. They’re easy to assemble and perfect for special occasions or a quick, show-stopping treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 23 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • Optional: 2 tbsp raspberry jam or preserves
  • Optional garnish: extra powdered sugar, mint leaves, or chocolate drizzle

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut puff pastry into 12 rectangles (about 3×2 inches). Place on baking sheet and prick with a fork.
  3. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and puffed. Let cool completely.
  4. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Optional: fold in raspberry jam.
  5. To assemble: layer pastry with cream and raspberries, top with another pastry, and repeat. Finish with a final pastry piece.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate. Chill briefly before serving.

Notes

  • Swap raspberries with other berries like strawberries or blueberries.
  • Add lemon zest to the cream for extra brightness.
  • Store pastry and cream separately if making ahead; assemble just before serving.
  • Use store-bought puff pastry for convenience.
  • Serve cold or at room temperature for best texture.
