Reindeer Cookies are festive holiday treats made with a soft cookie base, pretzel antlers, candy eyes, and red noses. They’re fun to make, kid-friendly, and perfect for parties, cookie exchanges, or gifting during the Christmas season.

Ingredients

  • 1 batch cookie dough (peanut butter, chocolate, or sugar cookie)
  • 24 mini pretzels (for antlers)
  • 24 red M&Ms or red candies (for noses)
  • 48 candy eyes
  • 2 tbsp melted chocolate or frosting (for decorating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll cookie dough into small balls and place on sheet, spacing evenly.
  3. Flatten each slightly to create a round surface.
  4. Bake for 8–10 minutes or according to package instructions until golden. Cool slightly on sheet.
  5. While warm, gently press two pretzels into the top of each cookie for antlers.
  6. Attach candy eyes and red M&M nose using melted chocolate or frosting.
  7. Let cool completely so decorations set.

Notes

  • Use sugar or gingerbread cookie dough for nut-free versions.
  • Decorate with mini marshmallows or chocolate chips for different features.
  • Dip half the cookie in chocolate and add crushed peppermint for extra flair.
  • Use broken pretzels creatively if pieces snap.
  • Bake cookies ahead and decorate later to save time.
