Adorable and festive chocolate-dipped strawberries decorated to look like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, complete with pretzel antlers, candy eyes, and red noses. A fun and easy holiday treat perfect for parties, gifts, or family activities.

Ingredients

  • 12 fresh strawberries with stems
  • 1 cup milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional, for accents)
  • 12 mini pretzels (for antlers)
  • 24 candy eyes
  • 12 red candies (such as red M&M’s or mini chocolate drops)
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil or coconut oil (optional, to thin chocolate)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly — they must be completely dry for the chocolate to stick.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 20 seconds until smooth. Add oil if needed for thinning.
  3. Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip into the melted chocolate, coating it nearly to the top.
  4. Let excess chocolate drip off, then place dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Before chocolate sets, press two candy eyes near the top and a red candy near the tip for the nose.
  6. Break pretzels in half and gently insert into the chocolate on each side for antlers.
  7. (Optional) Melt white chocolate and drizzle for decorative accents or a snowy look.
  8. Let strawberries rest at room temperature or chill until chocolate is fully set (about 10–15 minutes).

Notes

  • Use dark or white chocolate for variation.
  • Add crushed peppermint to the tip for a festive twist.
  • Drizzle white chocolate over antlers for a frosted look.
  • Best enjoyed the same day for ideal texture.
  • Store in a single layer in the fridge, uncovered or loosely covered.
