Santa Hat Crispy-Treat Cheesecake Squares are a festive, no-bake dessert that layers gooey marshmallow crispy treats with creamy cheesecake and fresh strawberry ‘Santa hats,’ topped with whipped cream. Perfect for holiday parties and kid-friendly fun.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping or whipped cream
  • 16 fresh strawberries, hulled
  • Whipped cream (for decorating the Santa hats)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
  2. Melt butter and marshmallows in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt.
  3. Fold in crispy rice cereal until fully coated. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan. Let cool completely.
  4. In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
  5. Spread the cheesecake layer over the cooled crispy base. Chill for at least 1 hour until set.
  6. Cut into 16 squares. Top each square with an upside-down strawberry.
  7. Pipe or dollop whipped cream around the base of the strawberry and a small ‘pom-pom’ on top to create Santa hats.
  8. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Add crushed peppermint or holiday sprinkles to the base for a festive twist.
  • Use mini muffin tins for bite-sized versions.
  • Decorate with whipped cream just before serving for best results.
  • Drizzle with melted chocolate for an extra treat.
  • Use parchment and a greased spatula to easily press the base without sticking.
