Ingredients

  • 12 oz linguine
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¾ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp salt (divided)
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Extra Parmesan, for serving

Instructions

  1. Boil linguine in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Add ground beef, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, then remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté 1–2 minutes until golden and fragrant.
  4. Add chicken broth, scraping any browned bits from the pan. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, mozzarella, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and remaining salt and pepper. Stir until smooth and thickened.
  6. Return beef to skillet. Add cooked linguine and toss to coat evenly in sauce.
  7. Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve immediately.
