Sheet Pan Pizza is a quick, crowd-pleasing meal made by stretching pizza dough onto a sheet pan, topping it with sauce, cheese, and your favorite toppings, then baking until golden and bubbly. It’s perfect for busy weeknights or fun gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 cups toppings of choice (pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, sausage, olives, etc.)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C) and lightly oil a large sheet pan.
  2. Stretch the pizza dough to fit the sheet pan, pressing it into the corners.
  3. Brush the dough lightly with olive oil and spread pizza sauce evenly over the top.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the sauce.
  5. Add desired toppings evenly across the surface.
  6. Sprinkle with dried oregano or Italian seasoning.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly, then slice into squares or rectangles and serve.

Notes

  • Use parchment paper for easier cleanup and to prevent sticking.
  • Par-bake the crust for 7–8 minutes if making ahead.
  • Don’t overload with toppings to avoid soggy crust.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
