Ingredients

  • 4 oz smoked salmon, flaked
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill or chives, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder or 1 tbsp minced shallot (optional)
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp capers (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place softened cream cheese in a bowl and beat until smooth.
  2. Mix in sour cream (or Greek yogurt), lemon juice, garlic powder or shallots (if using), and black pepper until creamy.
  3. Fold in flaked smoked salmon, fresh herbs, and capers if using.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning with more lemon juice or herbs as needed.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld before serving.
