Snowman-Shaped Pizza is a fun, festive twist on classic pizza—perfect for winter dinners, holiday parties, or family nights. Shaped like a snowman and topped with your favorite ingredients, this playful pizza is easy to make, kid-friendly, and totally customizable for any taste or occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Toppings of choice (pepperoni, olives, bell peppers, mushrooms, etc.)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning or garlic powder (optional)
  • Cornmeal or flour (for dusting the baking sheet)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Lightly dust a large baking sheet with flour or cornmeal.
  2. Divide dough into three balls—small (head), medium (middle), and large (body). Shape each into a round and place them slightly overlapping on the prepared pan to form a snowman shape.
  3. Brush lightly with olive oil and bake for 5–7 minutes to help set the shape.
  4. Remove from oven. Spread sauce over the dough, sprinkle with mozzarella, and decorate with chosen toppings (e.g., olive eyes, pepperoni buttons, bell pepper smile).
  5. Return to oven and bake for another 8–10 minutes, until crust is golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Cool slightly, slice, and serve with extra sauce if desired.

Notes

  • Use Alfredo sauce and mozzarella for a white “snowman” version.
  • Add a red bell pepper scarf or mushroom hat for extra detail.
  • Let store-bought dough come to room temperature for easier shaping.
  • Use parchment paper to build and bake the pizza without needing to transfer.
