Spooky Ghost-Shaped Oreo Truffles are festive Halloween treats made by combining crushed Oreo cookies and cream cheese, shaped into little ghosts, and dipped in white chocolate. They’re fun, no-bake, and perfect for parties, dessert tables, or spooky gift bags.

Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies (regular, not double-stuffed)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • Mini chocolate chips or black icing (for ghost faces)
  • Optional: 1 tsp coconut oil (to smooth melted chocolate)

Instructions

  1. Crush Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or by hand with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese until fully combined and smooth.
  3. Scoop small portions and shape into ghost-like mounds with rounded tops and tapered bottoms.
  4. Place shaped truffles on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.
  5. Melt white chocolate or candy melts, stirring until smooth. Add coconut oil if needed for easier dipping.
  6. Dip each ghost into melted chocolate, letting excess drip off, then return to tray.
  7. Before the coating sets, press in mini chocolate chips or dot with black icing to make ghost eyes and mouths.
  8. Let truffles set completely before serving or storing.

Notes

  • Use Golden or mint Oreos for different flavors and colors.
  • Double-dip for a thicker white coating and smoother finish.
  • Swirl coating downward with a spoon for a flowing ghost effect.
  • Add candy eyes for a fun variation.
  • Store in the fridge or freeze for longer keeping.
