Steak & Shrimp Stir-Fried Noodles is a fast, flavorful dish featuring tender steak, juicy shrimp, stir-fried noodles, and crisp veggies tossed in a savory garlic-soy sauce. It’s a satisfying, better-than-takeout meal made in just one pan.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz steak (sirloin, flank, or ribeye), thinly sliced
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz stir-fry noodles (lo mein, rice noodles, or spaghetti)
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Crushed red pepper flakes or sriracha (optional, to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss sliced steak with cornstarch and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and water to make the stir-fry sauce.
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Sear steak until browned, 2–3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same pan, cook shrimp until pink and just cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  6. Add remaining oil if needed. Stir-fry garlic, bell pepper, and carrot for 2–3 minutes until tender-crisp.
  7. Return steak and shrimp to the pan. Add cooked noodles and pour the sauce over everything.
  8. Toss everything together for 1–2 minutes until well coated and heated through.
  9. Top with chopped green onions and crushed red pepper flakes or sriracha if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Slice steak thinly against the grain for tenderness.
  • Use lo mein, rice noodles, or even spaghetti based on availability.
  • Swap steak or shrimp with chicken or tofu for variation.
  • Prep ingredients ahead for a quick weeknight meal.
