Succulent Lobster Tail is a rich, elegant dish featuring tender lobster meat broiled with garlic butter and finished with fresh lemon and herbs. It’s quick to prepare, making it perfect for celebrations, romantic dinners, or indulgent meals at home.

Ingredients

  • 24 lobster tails (4 to 6 ounces each)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or lemon wedges, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to broil and position the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
  2. Using kitchen scissors, cut through the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise to the tail fin. Gently lift the meat out and lay it on top of the shell, keeping it attached at the base.
  3. Place the prepared lobster tails on a foil-lined baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika (if using), salt, and pepper.
  5. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the exposed lobster meat.
  6. Broil for 8–10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and lightly golden, and the internal temperature reaches 140–145°F.
  7. Remove from the oven and spoon a bit more garlic butter over the top.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • For a spicy version, add cayenne or Old Bay seasoning to the butter.
  • Grill the lobster tails in summer for a smoky flavor twist.
  • Use fresh herbs like thyme or tarragon for an herby finish.
  • Bake instead of broil at 375°F for 12–15 minutes if preferred.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, or steamed vegetables for a full meal.
