Texas Roadhouse Salmon is a tender, juicy, and flavorful salmon dish seasoned with a savory-sweet spice blend and cooked to perfection by baking or grilling. It’s a healthy yet indulgent main course that brings steakhouse-style flavor home.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme or parsley (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a grill/grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and herbs in a small bowl.
  3. Pat salmon fillets dry and brush with olive oil or butter.
  4. Rub seasoning mix generously over salmon.
  5. For baking: place salmon on a parchment-lined sheet and bake 12–15 minutes until it flakes easily.
  6. For grilling: cook salmon about 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through and lightly charred.
  7. Serve hot with fresh lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Add cayenne or chili powder for a spicier kick.
  • Brush salmon with honey or maple syrup before cooking for a sweeter glaze.
  • For a smoky flavor, grill over charcoal.
  • Leftover salmon tastes great cold in salads or wraps.
