This Winter Fruit Salad with Maple-Lime Dressing is a vibrant, refreshing mix of seasonal fruits tossed in a tangy-sweet maple-lime dressing. It’s perfect for breakfast, brunch, or as a light, healthy dessert during the colder months.

Ingredients

  • 2 navel oranges or blood oranges, peeled and segmented
  • 2 red apples, chopped
  • 2 green pears, chopped
  • 1 cup red grapes, halved
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 2 kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • 1 banana, sliced (optional, add before serving)
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint, chopped (optional)
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp lime zest
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare all fruit by peeling, chopping, and slicing as needed. Place in a large serving bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, lime juice, lime zest, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Pour dressing over the fruit and gently toss to coat evenly.
  4. Refrigerate for 15–30 minutes to chill and allow flavors to meld.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped fresh mint and gently toss again. Serve cold.

Notes

  • Add chopped dates or dried cranberries for extra sweetness.
  • Include toasted walnuts or pecans for crunch.
  • Add pineapple or mango for a tropical variation.
  • Drizzle with Greek yogurt or coconut cream for a creamy twist.
  • Use honey instead of maple syrup, adjusting to taste.
