Witch hat cookies are a festive no-bake Halloween treat made with fudge-striped cookies, chocolate kisses, and colorful frosting. They’re fast, fun, and perfect for spooky gatherings, classroom parties, or a kid-friendly kitchen activity.

Ingredients

  • 24 fudge-striped cookies (or other flat-bottom chocolate cookies)
  • 24 chocolate kisses (e.g., Hershey’s Kisses)
  • Colored frosting or icing (orange, purple, green for hat bands)
  • Halloween sprinkles (optional for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Flip each fudge-striped cookie upside down so the solid chocolate side is on top.
  2. Pipe a small ring of colored frosting in the center of the cookie to form the hat band.
  3. Press a chocolate kiss into the frosting so it sticks, forming the tip of the witch hat.
  4. Optional: Decorate with a sprinkle or candy piece on the frosting for a “buckle” look.
  5. Let the cookies sit for 10–15 minutes at room temperature until the frosting sets.

Notes

  • Use mini peanut butter cups for a different witch hat shape.
  • Alternate frosting colors for a more colorful display.
  • Dip the bottom of kisses in colored sugar for sparkle before attaching.
  • Separate layers with parchment if stacking for storage.
  • No baking required — perfect for last-minute treats or party crafts.
