These Air Fryer Cheeseburger Wraps are a quick and delicious meal perfect for lunch or dinner. Soft tortillas are filled with seasoned ground beef, American cheese, pickles, and condiments, then air fried to golden perfection for a crispy finish.

Ingredients

Meat and Filling

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 16 sliced pickles
  • 4 slices American cheese

Condiments & Seasonings

  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder

Wraps and Finishing

  • 4 10-inch flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (plus extra for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Ground Beef: Heat a large pan over medium heat. Add the ground beef, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and cook until the beef is no longer pink. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Warm the Tortillas: Stack tortillas on a microwave-safe plate, cover with a damp paper towel, and microwave for 20 to 25 seconds to make them pliable for wrapping.
  3. Assemble the Wraps: Lay one tortilla flat and spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and ketchup. Add 4 pickle slices, 1 slice of American cheese, and about half a cup of cooked ground beef. Roll the tortilla tightly like a burrito. Repeat for all tortillas.
  4. Prepare for Air Frying: Brush the tops of the wrapped tortillas with melted butter to help achieve a golden crust during cooking.
  5. Air Fry the Wraps: Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C). Place the wraps seam side down in the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Finish and Serve: Brush the wraps with additional melted butter immediately after air frying. Allow them to cool slightly, then cut and serve.

Notes

  • These wraps are best enjoyed immediately but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, preheat the air fryer to 380°F and warm the wraps for 1 to 3 minutes until heated through.
  • Warm tortillas before assembling to prevent them from breaking during rolling.
  • Use large burrito-sized tortillas to ensure proper wrapping without tearing.
  • Pat pickles dry to avoid soggy wraps.
  • Cooking times may vary depending on your air fryer model; adjust as necessary.
