A delicious and elegant Baked Brie recipe featuring a creamy triple cream brie wheel baked with honey and fresh herbs. Perfectly paired with toasted baguette slices, crackers, fresh apples, grapes, and nuts for a warm, indulgent appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Cheese and Toppings

  • 1 (8-ounce) wheel triple cream brie
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey
  • 2-3 sprigs fresh thyme or rosemary

Accompaniments

  • ½ baguette, sliced and toasted
  • 2 ounces crackers
  • 1 large apple, sliced
  • 2 cups red seedless grapes
  • ¼ cup shelled pistachios
  • ¼ cup walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a small baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and facilitate easy cleanup.
  2. Bake the brie: Place the whole wheel of triple cream brie on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for about 18–20 minutes, or until the cheese inside is melted and gooey but the rind holds its shape.
  3. Transfer and garnish: Remove the baked brie from the oven and carefully use a spatula to transfer it onto a cheese board. Drizzle the top with honey and lay a couple of fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs on top for aromatic flavor.
  4. Serve warm: Serve the warm baked brie immediately alongside toasted baguette slices, crackers, fresh apple slices, red grapes, pistachios, and walnuts for a delightful mix of textures and flavors.

Notes

  • Do not remove the rind of the brie before baking; it helps keep the cheese together and is fully edible.
  • Leftover baked brie can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days.
  • To reheat leftovers, warm the brie gently in the microwave until it becomes gooey again.
