A savory and comforting Beef Ramen Bowl topped with tender stir-fried beef and perfectly fried eggs. This recipe combines rich beef broth, fresh or dried ramen noodles, and optional vegetables like bok choy or mushrooms, creating a flavorful and filling meal that’s easy to prepare in under 40 minutes.

Ingredients

Beef Marinade

  • 8 oz sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated

Ramen Bowl

  • 2 servings ramen noodles (fresh or dried)
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • Optional vegetables: bok choy, spinach, or mushrooms
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Frying

  • 2 eggs
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or sesame oil)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef: In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef with soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes while you prepare the other ingredients.
  2. Cook the Ramen Noodles: In a pot, bring water to a boil and cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  3. Make the Broth: In a large pot, bring the beef broth to a simmer over medium heat. If using vegetables like bok choy or mushrooms, add them and cook for about 3–5 minutes until tender.
  4. Cook the Beef: In a separate skillet, heat a little oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3–4 minutes until cooked through. Remove from heat.
  5. Fry the Eggs: In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed and crack in the eggs. Fry until the whites are set and the yolks are still runny (or cook to your preferred doneness). Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Assemble the Ramen Bowl: Divide the cooked ramen noodles into bowls. Ladle the hot broth and vegetables over the noodles. Add the cooked beef on top.
  7. Add the Fried Eggs: Place a fried egg on top of each bowl. Garnish with sliced green onions.
  8. Serve: Serve hot and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • For a richer broth, simmer beef bones or add a splash of mirin or sake if desired.
  • Adjust the cooking time of the eggs to your preferred doneness, either runny or fully cooked yolks.
  • Use fresh ramen noodles for a more authentic texture or dried noodles for convenience.
  • Add chili oil or sriracha for a spicy variation.
  • Optional vegetables can be tailored to taste or seasonal availability.
